Alex Schapiro

Alex Schapiro serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Dacra.  
 
Schapiro works with teams across the organization and with external parties to advance acquisitions, to secure financing, to implement governmental initiatives, to oversee development projects as well as to manage current assets in the portfolio. In this role, he frequently liaises with lenders, municipal officials and agencies, architects and design consultants, and other key constituents.  
 
Among other projects, Schapiro is currently working on the pre-development of future phases of the Miami Design District which includes plans for mixed-use properties that will enrich the existing neighborhood. Schapiro was part of the leadership team of the Miami Design District retail development. He has coordinated the closing of significant project, land and commercial real estate financing. 
 
Schapiro began his career working on the Design District project in 2011 as an analyst, managing acquisitions to build out the Miami Design District. Schapiro received his B.S. in Business Administration from Boston University.
