Ambra Medda is the co-Founder of Design Miami/, the global forum for collecting, exhibiting, discussing and creating design. Design Miami/ produces annual shows in Basel, Switzerland (June) and Miami, USA (December). With a background as a freelance curator and dealer in fine art and design, Ms. Medda launched Design Miami/ in December 2005 in Miami's Design District during Art Basel Miami Beach. In less than two years, Medda positioned Design Miami/ as the most prominent and substantive platform for international design. Ms. Medda consults on the strategic development of the business and the content and programming of the Design Miami/ shows and associated events.
